The authors, the brothers Rhodes, are an enthusiastic bunch, but all I learned of interest for my $1.58 was that there is a free site called pingoat.com that will alert several news syndication services to the fact that I have updated content on my blog. At the moment I don’t know if that was worth the money or not because pingoat.com was only partially functional that evening. I certainly didn’t learn The A to Z About RSS as the image claimed. I wonder why the authors of this little ebook would use that picture… Three other ebooks on the Kindle Store had the same cover.
I went back to pingoat.com the next evening and it still didn’t work. I tried pingomatic.com and it said it did. How the hell could I know for sure? I don’t want to write much more or this review will actually be longer than the book. If you search for this book using the keyword RSS you will see that there are at least four more books with the same title, The A to Z About RSS. They range in price from this ebook’s $1.58 to a purchase price of $9.99. What’s with that, you ask? I don’t know, but I just ordered the one for $4.77; I’ll let you know. (Alas, four days later and pingoat.com is still not working).
